 it didn't work at all to me; it could not log in to the hotmail server and it wanted to configure my outlook, which I NEVER use, main reason to get me a notifier...

 It`s a cracker! It was easy to locate and load my file into a cracking session, I was a bit unsure as to what settings I should use. Ultimately, I wasn't too bothered about whether I managed to open the zip file, so when it got to 7 characters (which of course was taking a very long time) I gave up! No reflection on the software, just my own impatience...

No Mac facility It was a PC based program even though it said it was also for Macs, but it was just an .exe file that was downloaded, which is no good to me.

I found this product to be of no use to me as it wouldn\'t accept my valid ymail.com yahoo address as a valid yahoo email address
When I attempt to use it to check my hotmail, it informs me that there\'s a \"internet access error\" or \"errors encountered while checking e-mail\". My internet\'s working, and I can check my emails through the browser (but that, of course, fails to give me alerts for new mail), so I don\'t really know what\'s going on.
Generally worked as advertised. Some problem clearing indicator for non existant emails. Visual indicator in the envelope on the task bar too small for these eyes.
Had been looking for an audio alert for Hotmail for a long time. DynAdvance Notifier 1.3 did the job. Very easy install.
